My latest release, Legion, was inspired by the story of the man in the bible with the legion of demons. Jesus asks “what is your name?” to which the man (demons through the man) replied “my name is legion, because there are many of us inside this man.”
I joined with friends of mine - Ruthie Larbi and Farouk Jr. - to work on this track. Puling from our own experiences with negative thoughts, traumatic experiences, and all that comes with this…we saw how they can often become who we are (named by shame) but…when love, hope, truth and grace steps in we can find clarity from the noise. We can be known by who we truly are, not our faults, failings or inner turmoil…we can begin to choose which voices lead our lives.
We hope that this song meets you where you're at, helps you feel seen in the darkest places and helps bring you into a space of hope for something more.
My autobiography is filled with themes of this kind of story…from confusion to clarity on who I am…from fear to self-governance…it's a process, and never a one-and-done…but becomes a rhythm of choosing who is leading your life…the internal negative, berating, hate, fear, shameful voices…or voices that speak life, hope, joy over you.

Story & Sound - est. 2025
This collab was formed after the project we were all brought in on in 2023 (see below - Lullaby Project Australia).
I have joined with my good mates Caleb Raymond (singer-songwriter, multi-musician) and Liam Smith (singer-songwriter, multi-musician and producer) to create this colab called Story & Sound. Together we love collaborating with people to take them on the journey of exploring their stories and how they can be brought to life with sound.
In our experience, these sessions aren't only fun and inspiring in that they bring the story to life in a new way, but it can also be such an incredibly healing process. The process of conversation and finding the sounds that help each individual express the moment, story, emotion etc. has a lasting impact on their lives.
